Maybe I am naive, but dont they sell progressive springs for the b6???

And does the b6 have a preload and dampning adjustment on the top of the forks??  If so, progressive springs and good oil should be sufficient imho....

the bike shop has NOS forks but they want 900 for them....  screw that im tryin to do all this for about 4 maybe 5  and i realyy dont even wanta spent that....

ive found gixer 600/750 front end on ebay including trip tree for bout 300...   then after i get clip ons and try to figure out how to mount brakes if they dont bolt right up... im looking at about 400 (not including the brake mounting)
and then i still have to replace the front tire after that....

i have a new rear suspention my cousin sellin me for dirt cheap (ill get into that one latter)

so.........................

Yeah, i am an ass..... I just read your last thread....

Call Arkport Suzuki in Arkport NY, ask for "John" he is the owner.   Ask him if he has a parts b6.  Or once you figure out what other bikes fit....he has TONS AND TONS of used bikes in turned in form, that he will sometimes part out....

You probably didn't think to look in the 250/400 FAQ, but there's a fork swap thread in there that applies to ALL Bandits.

Well, you wouldn't want to use the 250/400 forks, but they are the same overall length and use the same length steering stem as the 600/1200, so the GSXR swap info works across the full Bandit range.

200-250$ will get you a nice set of late model forks off ebay with triple trees,  and no brakes (and no discs they usually stay with the wheel). It may take you a couple auctions but there are calipers sold seperately. Your budget will get you all you need.
