GSX-R front end
« on: June 18, 2005, 08:57:12 AM »
Has anyone on the list switched to the GSX-R front forks? A friend of mine bought a SV650 for racing,he put a GSXR front on it and said besides better forks it drops his unsprung weight considerably.( I forget how much he said, but I'll be seeing him soon) I have the Race Tech gold valves and springs in mine now. Wich is a big improvment from stock. But the GSX-R might be another step toward better corner speed and handling. I've seen a set on ebay with the tripple tree, and brakes for $600. But that was when I was rebuilding her, and needed other stuff 1st at the time.  Dan

Most of the front end swapping experience on this board has been done in the B4 community.

The GSXR forks mentioned in the above thread have been swapped onto B12's before, but AFAIK, there aren't any active members with this setup currently.
