Hand Guards

Has anyone fitted hand Guards on their Bandit? On the old site there was some discussion of someone fitting DL1000 V-Strom hand guards on their Bandit. Just wondering how did it work out??
Did anyone do something different? Any suggestions? I need some idears.
Thanks. Kyle 97 B12 Iowa

The V-Strom hand guard trick made its way to this board too... it's in the 600/1200 FAQ, right here.

There are many hand guards for dirt bikes which would fit the bandit as it has standard bars, not clip ons.  Try Acerbis or UFO.  Check with a shop that has Tucker Rocky distributing for them.  They have a catalog with all the brands.

I recently fitted a set of KTM 950 Adventure handguards (because they were free!)  They don't fit exactly, but the plastic bends!
That's impressive,
and I'm not easily impressed.
