This is the shield on the Suzuki brochure with their official line of accessories. Anyone know anything about it?

KenB, that is the exact windscreen I ordered from TwistedThrottle and installed on my B1250 over 1200 miles ago, and I'm even more pleased with it now than I was when I wrote these impressions after ony 100 miles:

However, it is NOT the same windscreen listed as an official Suzuki accessory... the one they have for $69.95 is a one-piece, and only comes in clear.

The one in your picture is an MRA Vario screen, and it's been shown on the new Bandit at various bike shows as a potential "official" accessory... but the one shown on the brochure I have from my dealer is NOT the MRA screen. it is a cheaper one-piece and doesn't look like that at all.

I would say that if your dealer gives you a price of $69.95, it will NOT be the MRA screen that you end up with. Apparently they went with a different screen in the final decision.

Gotcha. I was just assuming that this was the screen being offered by Suzuki since it was on the marketing literature. It's $140 at twistedthrottle.com. Thanks for posting the link to your writeup on this screen. Good stuff.

You're welcome.

There's a lot of good info about windscreens in that whole thread, about 6 pages altogether I think. Some other models in there too.

I really like that Vario... wouldn't trade it for anything.  :bigok:
