Ken Sean GPX Mirrors$12US from Dennis Kirk
« on: May 03, 2006, 01:00:02 PM »
Hello all,

I hate the mirrors on my 2005 suzuki gsf1200s bandit. Their not just useless, their down right lethal to my health and well being.

I read on Fast Larrys website that the universal mirrors: "Dennis Kirk Part #: 39-261 (R), 39-260 (L)" would fit. Has anyone tried these on a 2005 bike?

My stock mirrors attach with two bolts that thread into the faring.

Any body try these?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure those were recommended as a replacement for naked bandits, not the S models.  I have VERY similar Emgos on my naked B4.

They'd work on the 1G S models, too, since these bikes use handlebar mounted mirrors, too. They wouldn't work for a 2G or 3G S model though, since these bikes use fairing mounted mirrors.

Some folks have been happier with some of those sick-on convex mirrors tacked on the the stockers.

Somewhere, and I can't seem to find where right now, someone had (or made) some spacers to move the mirrors outward.
