Wow your bandit looks awesome.  Have you had it dyno'ed?  I am curious how much performance gains you have realized for all your money and efforts.  Also where did you purchase the carbs and cams? :congrats:

Doesn't the TPS  have to do with the timing of the motor?

Thanks for the complement, she really did turn out ok.

A dyno run will be made in the fall when I get some free time and have the bike run in on full synthetic oil. Hoping to get 130bhp.

Carbs were bought thru my local independent shop. They ordered them from Sudco-I bought another set for the 750 so I got a really good deal.

Cams were bought new from Ron ayers- '89 GSXR750 were the hottest OEM cams that will work in the B12. Around $300 for the set.

TPS was added to the stock 2G carbs to help fix surging and the low speed problems due to being  lean from the factory (emision restrictions). When going with aftermarket carbs it is simply disconnected (cannon plug under the tank) and forgotten.

With the RS Mikuni's and GSXR cams the TPS is not needed, carburation is flawless and the motor now rips thru 6000 rpm so fast it does not have time to hiccup :lol:

The rearsets look great!  Are they the type 1, 2, or 3?

ValterMoto says that their type 3 has "infinite adjustability," but from their pics, it's appears that there's only a single peg position.

Thanks, to be honest I don't know what type I have. I ordered the type 1 ($195) thru Kneedraggers. They were suposed to be clear anodized non adjustable rearsets. I recieved black anodized adjustable (3 position) rearsets. They are made for the B12 but are not the pictured type 1, 2, or 3 on Kneedraggers website.

I like the black and decided to keep them. Furthermore, after dealing with Kneedraggers, a real PIA, I found out that their supplier is GP Tech. I have been talking directly with Jeff at GP Tech (269 671-4915) about matching up some heel guards. Only issue with the rearsets now is the lack of a mounting position for the rear brake light switch.

The switch mounts into the stock heelguard (stock heelguards cannot be used with these rearsets). I plan to improvise something.

The ValterMoto's have a very nice fit and finish, for $200 spent I am pretty happy with the outcome.
