New handlebars for a G2 B6, opps fell down...
« on: October 24, 2006, 10:04:21 PM »
My wife just crashed her bandit   and I am putting it back on the road as a naked bike  . She has the standard bars with Genmar barbacks. I would like to replace the handlebars and barbacks with handlebars with more rise and pullback so I can get rid of the barbacks.

What bars from where would have more pull back and rise?

There's many handlebar vendors out there and they offer a wealth of choices. Flanders & Emgo are a couple of common ones that won't cost you a small fortune. You just need to figure out what you want in rise, pullback and width. If you've got a bike salvage near you, you might want to look at used bars from an older Japanese standard. These bikes had more rise and pullback.
