Muzzy exhaust?
« on: October 21, 2005, 12:37:51 AM »
I am looking at the Muzzy slip on.  It is the only one I can find that has a welded on mounting tab.  I do not like the bracket wrap around thingy.

Does anyone have any experience with this pipe and will I have to re-jet?
I also am looking to add individual K+N's.

I hope by "looking at" you mean you've actually seen it... because the Muzzy site doesn't seem to be showing a picture of their B12 can and some of the cans they show come with a welded on tab, and others use the more common band clamp.
I'm assuming since they call theirs a slip-on and not a bolt-on that it comes with a mid-pipe?

You don't HAVE to rejet with just a slip-on/bolt-on...
...but it runs better if you do.

If you go to pods, you MUST rejet!
In that case, I would recommend you go with either a Holeshot or Factory-Pro kit designed to work with pods.

Here is the link from Ebay.

The Muzzy site does not do a good job with their products.  Maybe that should be a hint not to buy one.  I will keep looking, any suggestions would be appreciated.
