Yeah we have been lucky so far able to use track mode on the street, unlike the Honda civic and accord street racing mods impounding has pretty much shut allot of that down at least in cali. Other states like VA and NV are catching on and doing the same thing to those car owners. But bike have pretty much escaped allot of scrutiny in mods by state police, mostly I think due to the HD motorcycle lobbyist as congress and governors don't want to kill the last American motorcycle at least from the user end perspective, but they have started going after suppliers. Goodness knows that before state police can scrutinize what race track pluming and pipes sport bike are using, they are going to have to go after HD first as I we all know allot of folks that would like to put a cork in their pipes.

As for me my previous B1200 had the pluming and pipe mods mostly becasue it needed it to just run right from the factory. But the B1250 was pretty satisfying box stock except for the leg burning pipe which I had to change, again out of necessity. But this time round 100 smooth horses are as good as the 35 extra after market horses $1800 dollars will buy me HS parts, and if I really wanted them I would have used that money toward the big ZX14 with 190HP box stock. In the long run I know my dad was right, "keep it stock son unless you build all custom from scratch".
