Odd Tire Wear
« on: September 03, 2005, 04:38:29 PM »
After 4K miles my Macadam 100X rear tire is shot.  I was looking at the wear pattern and saw something that looked odd.  The tire is worn in the center as I would expect, but after about 50 miles of twisties today another wear strip showed up on the left hand side of the tire.  The right side of the tire is still ok.  What's the deal? The only thing I could think of was the camber in the road, could that cause a noticable difference in tire wear?  Is it due to my riding habits?

I swear I'm not a NASCAR fan who likes to make left hand turns all day! :monkeymoon:

 :thanks:

Yes, the camber can do that.

So could having the rear wheel out of alignment.
