Part Swaps for 1st Gen B6

Hey everyone, first time poster!!

I have been looking through this site for some time and can not find a list of parts that can be swapped to a 1st Gen B6 from a B12 or the GSXR-750 shock. I think if we could get a list of parts that can work in one area it would be a great help not to me but EVERYBODY !

Most everything can be swapped. Bodywaork is the same excpet for color and 1200 tanks have the stuff for a fuel gauge, but the tanks will still swap.
 The front brakes & forks are different, but whole the front end from a B12 will bolt on a B6. Rear swingarms and their associated parts are different, but the B12 swinger will bolt onto a B6. A B12 engine will bolt into a B6, as will the 600, 750 & 1100 from SACS powered GSXRs and Katanas.

So what you are saying, just about anything can be swapped from the 1st gen bikes if swapped as a "unit" if necessary.  Thanks......But what about parts like exhaust & carbs from the B12?  and aftermarket parts.....

Exhaust, yes.
Carbs should, too - if you use the B12 manifolds. B12 carbs might be a little much for a B6 unless you're building a hotrod motor... then you're probably not using the B6 head... maybe one from a GSXR750R - the best head in the engine family.

What aftermarket parts? Anything for the body, like windscreens, yes. Some luggage systems fit both, but Givi lists different kits for the 600 & 1200. Aftermarket engine parts get iffy. Cams will, but crankcase end covers don't, even though they look similar. (The B12 & 1127 GSXR/Katana/GSX1100G have a bigger bottom end.)

If anyone else has any other ideas feel free to post.  Anything that they have been able to make fit and work I would like to know!!!
