You have done it now, Showy???? Come on, she is all business
Ride report. The Radial Masters are a worthwile upgrade for the B12.
I have put a few miles on the bike with the mentioned setup.
First the masters are nice, especially the clutch. Much lighter feel, Much better gearbox action overall. The gearbox is much smoother and more positive on high rpm upshifts. It is worth the upgrade. I purchased the ZX14 unit on ebay for only $85. The switch unit is also compatable to the stock switch plugs. Very easy install.
The GSXR brake master is one finger usable with Goodrich lines and HH pads. Very powerful and progressive. Highly recommended. Another easy install, ebay find for $120.
The WP rear shock is soft and needs to be resprung soon. A little rear ride height would be great to help make the bike steer a little quicker. I am thinking of a length adj Penske in its place.
Jetting with the RS36's is spot on at 70-75F. She absolutely snorts thru 6500rpm now, the GSXR 750 cams provide a nice upper midrange rush.
The Dunlop 208's need to go. They are getting slippery at 1000 miles. Plently of tire left, they just feel greasy. Not even close to the superb Pilot Powers on my 900SS. Even considering the SS is 100lbs lighter than the B12, the Dunlops are not in the same ballpark. Plan to go with Michelin's in March, gonna try a 120/65 front to help quicken the steering. Presently have 8-10mm drop in the front and do not wanna go lower.
the rearsets are a nice hot rod setup, Ok on a bike that is ridden occasionally. I would not want them on an everyday machine.
Hope this helps, Ed.
