Triple tree cover?
« on: January 27, 2006, 12:08:49 AM »
Anyone know where I can get a triple tree cover like this one?  This one is Carbonworks but they don't seem to make one for the Bandit, and I'm coming up empty elsewhere.  I hate scratches.  Scratches bad!!:rant2:

Try these, the first is from a company called ART. They do a range of carbon fibre stuff and exhausts.  I can't vouch for their carbon fibre stuff but my Mrs used to sell the exhausts and reckons they're pretty good.

Man Aussie aren't we the efficient one! Tk421 they make stick on sheet stuff that is surprisingly durable. The art stuff is top-o-the line though! Did you get clip ons? If so what do you think of the ride position? :beers:

Thanks Mick.  I have a 2G Bandit though, and RonAyers says the trees are the different, but I wonder if they are close enough.  I'll have to look for a good picture from a 1G and try to compare them side by side.

Daytona, I don't have clip-ons.  I think that picture is from a Hayabusa, but I was just using it as an example.

If you hate scratches, don't put your bike key on a ring with anything that'll scratch the tree up.
For this reason, my ket just has a ring on it so I can attach the key to a caribiner with my other keys.

I got mine about 3 years ago from David  Cork at Streetfighters By Design. I don't see them on his web site, but you give him a call to see if he still carries them

I recall paying about $30 for a carbon fiber cover.
