To begin you need to remove the tail section, then remove the tail light assembly from the tail section.

Remove the screws holding the lens to the reflecter and remove it.

Remove the two bulbs, now remove the left bulb holder by turing it counter clockwise.

Install the LED board, running the turn signal wires through the left hole.

After you mark the left turn signal wire, and install the power wires for the tail light into the right side, it installs just like the bulb you just removed.

Now install the o-rings to hold the board to the reflector.

I used a small blade screwdriver to push them all the way down to hold it as far back as it will sit on the two screw posts on the reflector.

Now is a good time to plug the tail light back in to the harness to check that all is working as it should.

Now to hook up the turn signals, trace the wires from the stock signals back to the conections to the harness. Disconect one plug and check to see what side is the postive and which one is negtive. I used a test light.

Now to check to make sure you have the wires from the straight. Carefully touch the wire to the postive side of the plug. You should get the yellow signal light flashing. It will be much faster than normal, if you like the speed you can now make the connection. If it is to fast for you taste(mine was) you need to install the resistor that came with the kit between the postive and negtive wires. I was removing my stock turn signals so, I cut about 5 inches off of the stock signal side and soldered the wires to the resistor so it would pulg in just like the stock signal. I then bent the wires over the resistor and wraped it in a few layers of electrical tape.

After it was all done I checked to make sure every thing was working right, then install the new clear lens and the rubber seal. Then reinstalled the tail light back in to the tail section.

I also trimed the rear fender at this point, using the directions off of the Holeshot site. The only thing I can add to that is how to mark your cut. I put the braket where it is reloacted marked the bottom of it, then used a length of wire from the mark the the outside of the fender where you want to cut to and draw your line, it should come out very even. After you're done with your trimming, re-install the tail section and check fuction before you button it all back up!
