Here she is so far, Holeshot fork brace is good quality and worth the $120.
Race Tech Springs
Galfer lines for front/rear brakes and clutch.
Dunlop 208's are on the way- $199 plus $20 shipping.

brace looks good. funny - just looking at galfers lines for front/rear and clutch. they eliminate the front block right? both running off the master cyl.

maybe i could save $$ and just buy the decals and fake it.

No more block, just two lines from the master to each caliper. I'll post more when I get it all back together, Ed.

you need a zip ty on them forks legs to see how much travel your using! you look like yur lacking a bit having them fork tubes lowered so much , should have bought the emulator valves to from race tech or is it the gold valves on them forks ?

I have already measured the travel, it is not an issue. The Race Tech springs make a huge difference in controlling dive under braking. The front end is set up fairly stiff, with full preload, but thats how I like it.

Why gold valves on a 500 lb steel framed bike that will never see the track. I would rather put the $ into cams or RS carbs which are coming soon. Springs and fork brace made a world of difference, the front end does not chatter or misbehave under sane street riding conditions so I see no need to dump $ into unneeded suspension mods.

But I did cut my teeth on 16 valve GS bikes where hp was premium and everything else was BS, so maybe I am a little bias.

will make the ride that much better! even on the street! so what exactly is yur wallowing problem? is it in the rear? RS carbs are a mother to tune ! But once you get them right they are great i have a set on my gsxr400/bandit 400! cheers jay

No wallowing issues for me- that was a billster issue. I am still undecided on the gold valves, just not totally convinced that the cost and effort to get them right is worth it on a 500lb beast that is never gonna corner like a GSXR.

I want to get rid of the stock airbox and would rather spend the $ towards the RS carbs rather than Stage 2 jet kit for the stockers. I don't mike pulling carbs to tune, its dealing with the airbox that sucks. Not to mention the bike looks much better without it.

not really anything to get right just follow the race tec instructions , but i see your point carbs will be a nice touch and i hate airboxes to atleast the hard ones to get on! cheers and good luck with your mods
