« on: July 24, 2007, 01:14:42 PM »
Found the genuine Suzuki stuff on EBAY- but DANGGGG at the cost!700+ for the darn side bags...I like them- but not sure if I am willing to pay that.

Here ya go.

They look awesome for side bags for sure.  Gonna have to call my dealer and see what they can do.  ordering my exhaust today- so it'll be a lil while anyhow.

The Ebay selley seems to be good people by there feedback rating...just wanted to let you guys see.

Actually that price includes the topcase rack and the sidecasr racks, too. That's not a bad price for all that.

I wish they would make it more clear what the "mounting hardware" is... I'm pretty darn sure that the part #990D0-38G05-060 is actually the rear luggage rack that the topcase mounts to, and part #990D0-17H00-065 are the racks for the side cases, which attach to the luggage rack.

All I really want is the rear luggage rack, so I can hang my soft saddlebags and tailbag on.

Yeah- I was wondering the same thing.  I just want the hard bags and the mount for it.

What sux is, that, I'll never get to lay my eyes on a real setup.  Around here- not many ride this style of bike.  I have seen 1 other Bandit since I bought mine.  Most here are sport riders or stunters.  I would like to see a set in person before I send that kind of money.

Compared to what most OEM bags & mounts costs, or even GIVI stuff, these prices look pretty good to me!!

My colour matched KAPPA bags were in the same ballpark in 2003, at a significant discount below "full retail", WITHOUT the luggage rack mount.

Anyone seen what the "colour matched inserts" look like?

D... you have the rear luggage rack. Can you do me a favor and look on your invoice for the part number? I'm guessing it's #990D0-38G05-060 but I'd like to be sure before I order it.

Thanks!

There weren't any part numbers on my invoice - I checked the other day. I'll go back to the dealer and get another accessory catalogue. It should be in there (but no guarantees as Suzuki as a whole doesn't seem too hot on providing information).
