B400 For Sale
« on: April 08, 2013, 07:19:10 PM »
Hey guys,
Saw this on EBay. If it was closer I would pick it up.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1991-Suzuki-GSF400-Bandit-Mint-and-22-years-old-Rare-and-Collectable-4-Cyl-/161002215657?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item257c7ad8e9#ht_500wt_1182

Looks really nice, and if in the area of Arkansas good be a good pick up depending on how high you are willing to go.

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

Yeah that bikes not gunna sell. Probably wants a min of 3500 for it. I think I could but each part individually and build a bandit for half that.

I'm sure the reserve is high, but you never know. Maybe he is in a good mood and the high bid gets offered to buy it for a lower price.
I'm definitely out on this one, still hunting for one closer to the Charlotte area and lower in price..

I know of a non running one in central pa that's for sale but not listed. It was a flood bike but the guy wanted $600 for it. If I didn't already have 2 I'd have considered it. If you're interested. I know it's far but if you REALLY want one.

Hell, if I had a way to get it to Charlotte I would be all over it.

These bikes are so small I fit mine in the back of my Honda element. I've helped load larger bikes into mini vans before.

I have a 2 door koup, and the GF said I had a better chance of seeing god than her letting me take her SUV to PA to tow a bike back. However she did just drive me to a short drive south to pick up a running 400 for 1,000. Needs a new front tire, and will have to rebuild the carbs when it gets to hot in NC to ride a bike (july-august) but pretty stoked to be back on one. Also, will need to get painted in the winter.  Dude tried to paint the tank and plastics but didnt really do a good job (call it a 6' paint job, because any closer you start seeing the imperfections).

And before you judge the usage of the k in koup its a kia...and for some reason those koreans actually spell it like that.
