Hey Snub,

I'm quite interested in these, I need to look into what the side racks are worth and make sure it will fit on with my V46.
How much to ship to T8R-1H4?  Oh wait, maybe I can just meet you at work or Brits for lunch.  :)

LOL! VW people are weird.

Put the PL166's (the side racks for the cases) on order today.  With luck, we can meet you with the bike and try them on right there.   Otherwise, we can always transfer the cases to the Mustang's awesome trunk.

BTW, have you picked a place to get the starter done?  I recommend Certified Radio on the South side.  They did the final tuning of the one in the mustang.  The location downtown did the installation and made a total CF of it. The south side fixed it, and it's been perfect ever since.

weird?...if you mean "weirdly wonderfully spot on in their choice of awesome, euro-road hugging-actually able to turn well in corners automobile?.. Yes, you're right!... I'll take some of that!" :thumb:

Actually, in regards to the remote starter,  Ive got a place that does top notch work that provides discounts and excellent warranty within a partnership with the Brick staffers, and doesn't overcharge for "techno-babble" alleged requirements specific to your make and model. Honestly, the amount of Bull-crap that salespeople try and pull to make it sound like it something you need , but will cost XXX extra is appalling!.

Seems Wizzo is second in line!  Did your supplier (is it twistedThrottle?) give you a ETA?

Good to hear! I think it's all a bunch of crap too.  We had ours done through a family member who works for a Ford dealer (you know that's why I drive ford, right?  Not cos I love them), who has Certified do all of their work for them.  So I didn't get the sales pitch either.

Good for him.  Actually, Scona's ordered them for me.  They're $14 more than at TT, and they'll be here hopefully at the end of the week, I can go back to them if they're the wrong ones or there's some other problem (like Givi's famous "mostly fits" issues.), and they're paying for the ride, which I expect from Twisted throttle would be about the same or more.

I had some bad luck shipping something from outside the country recently, I like the idea of Customs not putting their hands on my parcel anymore than is necessary.

Yay!!  My PL166s showed up today.  (OK, probably yesterday)

I went into Scona looking for something else today and Pat said, Hey! I have something in the back for you....
I won't lie, it was sort of a creepy comment, til he said "Givi" to me...
