Well I know that there is me and I know of a guy that lives over in Saugus in Santa Clarita Valley. I have a 2001 red 1200 bandit S. I have been up to Newcombs Ranch a few times over the winter. Went up a few weeks ago and kept riding up to the ski fields. Man talk about lots of snow still up there. Was getting a little cold and too many rocks and gravel on the road so I turns around. So I am looking forward to it getting warmer and the winds to die down. I live in Canyon Country, Santa Clarita. I have seen a few other Bandits up at the Crest as well, so there are some of us around. Cheers,

Hey Bandit1250,

If ya' can't find any 1250 riders to post up, I'm sure the Rexer's will still let you ride with them. :thumb:

I guess I will have to check into that. I was looking for a ZRX. Never could find a good used one, so I ended up with a brand new left over 07 bandit 1250 for not much more than a ZRX.  :thumb:

I have been all along!
I do monthly rides with the ZRX guys and we do a couple of yearly rallies here in So Cal......seems like the ZRX'ers like to ride much more than the Bandit Boys, lots of rides always posted in the ZRXOA site.

Hello N13BN,  Wow, you are close.   I sent you a personal message.   I was going to ask you about how your bike shifts.   Mine is a little "Clunky" when I shift.  I only have about 360 miles on it though.

My 1250 shifts about as smooth as any bike I have had.  In fact, I usually do most shifts, except from 1st to 2nd, without using the clutch.  I am very happy with it.

I often shift into 3 rd 4th 5th and 6 th without the clutch also if I'm just cruising along. Those shifts are as smooth as silk. It's when I do use the clutch, I get a clunk. Not always, but quite often it does it.  I just wondered if it maybe has a clutch problem. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this.
