For this year the insurance on my 06 expires on the 27th. We have another beautiful fall weekend upon us here and I intend to take full advantage of it. Then I'll be tucking her in safe and warm till April. I've had some great rides this year and hope to actually meet other Bandit riders next year. If you all are in the BC or Vancouver Island area next year, give me a holler and maybe we can get a ride in together :beers:

I lived in Port Alberni for five years and had two days each year of snow.  I know the wet's a beeatch but thought you would be getting a little longer season than that.

It's just above freezing here most mornings so I'm thinking of storing my bike really soon.  This six months of riding a year (if that) really sucks.

Well, have to admit, she's brand new and the thought of mud and dirt doesn't sit well with me right now. Just want to keep her shiny for a little bit. And then theres little ol me. At 54 I've had just a few years of all year riding. I've earned a little time off. One more week and I'll have my new Two Brothers to strap on. Looking for a little hole in the cloads to test that out.

I think today may be the warmest day for a while as the forcast looks bleak. I have managed to put 1000 kms on my bike in the last 12 days. Can't believe how great the weather has been. I actually rode a little more often because i wanted to get the new 06 broken in and to the dealer for it's initial service. Today it is going to be around 20 degrees Celsius but rain rain rain. Not bad for Niagara within hours of december!!!! Anyways hope you all get out and ride if we get a good day, including all of Canada.

The west coast is a little colder, and whiter...
I got caught in Vancouver, B.C. for an extra 2 days due to the snow storm. Almost 30 cm snow in Surrey. At home in Cranbrook, there is also about 30 cm snow, and we had -28 deg C night before last...

Riding is not likely for me for a bit, but I just received my preorder copy of Destination Highways North Cal, and we are busy planning to May trip. which will keep in on the top of my mind.
