Bantana, Pete, Anyone going to Road Atlanta this weekend? My son called tonight and just found out he's not working this weekend and wants me to come down and go to the races...I'm sure thinking 'bout it.

I'll miss the races this year. Sadly for the first time since the 1998.
I think the weather is going to hold out and it should be a decent weekend. You might get some rain on the way down. Have fun.

Bantana, sorry I took so long to get back to this but you were right the weather held Sunday 'til we got 1 1/2 miles away from the track after the last race and then it just POURED! I'd never been to RA before , man that's some place. Rode 140 up to I75 Monday...Sweet ride. Made it to Jellico before I got wet again....rained all the way to Lexington, then the sun comes out and nothing but a sea of breaklights all the way thru Lexington. 2 and 1/2 hours to get from Richmond Ky. to Williamstown Ky. when usually you can be in Cinncy in less then 3. 1200 miles for the weekend, would I do it again to get to Road Atlanta? You Bet Ya. Maybe catch some of ya there next year.
