A handful of us ducked into this rustic place on US 64, just west of NC 107, on a rainy day.
The food was good, prices reasonable.
They have some inside dining, and a nice, covered porch with lots of seating.......and old license plates on display!
I had the Pork BBQ sandwich, and some Onion rings.
The sandwich was good, the rings fresh and large, but the batter was a little bland.


Prices were comparable to your local, antiseptic, fast food burger factory........

Hey Pete
This is Phil from FL. I remember the restaurant you're talking about. It was good. Been there a couple of times. I was wanting to show the pics taken that wet weekend in September to a fellow who contacted me recently from my home town of Lakeland. Problem is, that I can't find them! Guess you can't post them indefinatly. Are they still available?

we ate there again this past saturday.......still good food.....reasonable prices.....and the onion rings were large, fresh, and the batter slightly better. (Never was really bad!)
A great stop on your way to Bridal Veil Falls!
