Exhaust fitment question

Can a slipon from a Gen 2 fit a Gen 1 bike if you use the pipes mid pipe?

Was wondering if I can install a Gen2 TRS Yoshi on my Gen1 Bandit

I don't see why not.... One HS pipe fits both bikes...
