Two Bros. 06 B12 Slip on fit 07 B12?
« on: May 15, 2008, 12:13:16 PM »
Selling mine. Need to know if I can offer it to water cooled owners. Altho 2Bros. lists them separately, the chassies are virtually identical.

While the chassis are nearly identical, the bigger question is, is the exhaust as nearly the same?

Especially the header pipes, since the Two Bros contains both the slip-on and mid pipe.

The stock exhaust sure looks different, but then the stock 1250 has a cat in the mid-pipe. I have no idea if the headers and collector are the same or not.

No, they are not the same, I had an '04 and had to get a new mid pipe for the '07

An 04 is not an 06...not even close  Having said that, an 01+ exhaust fits right nice on an 06, you just have to move the clamp on the can...if the clamp is welded on then you'd have to make an adapter

I agree with the comments above that the mid-pipe would be the issue...the can would work

My 06 has a cat converter in the stock exhaust. I guess, tho, 2Bros has them listed as different systems, so they must be different. Even the pics show them as identical. Just thought by chance maybe sombody had tried to stick one on an 07 or 08.
