Gaz stabiliser
« on: November 13, 2006, 04:06:28 PM »
I just dumped 8 oz. of gaz stabiliser in a full tank to get the B12 ready for winter (Canada eh ?) and THEN  :duh: I read the label on the bottle that says "one ounce per gallon". I let the motor run idle for 5 minutes to get the stuff into the carbs . It started a bit gruff after about a month of being parked, but then settled to runnin' nice...
 Now if I'm not wrong on this, the B12 will hold 4.2 Imp.gal. so I must've doubled the dose...should I drain a half tank and replace with fresh gaz, or just let it go...
Can this be harmful...will the bike start in spring...
Any ideas anyone...

 The smell in the springtime...I din't mind... :thanks:
I usually take it out of storage 3rd. week of March depending on weather and it's a bonus when a bike starts smooth after 4 months of silence...Again  :thanks: [/img]
