Need Help cause this is Utter Bullshit
« on: July 11, 2007, 03:20:47 AM »
I need to do some maintenance on my bike, Its a GSF250s 1995 model. I NEED A BLOODY MANUAL!!!! How am i suppose to check value clearance, Carb float levels, compression ratios etc etc with out something to let me know the details.

I mean for F^%& Sake the bike has been around for 12 years you'd think someone would have made a manual in that time.

Anyway, any help would be good, my bike is sick and need fixing, plus and perhaps more importantly i need to ride.

Cheers  :taz:

There's a manual for it... if you can read Japanese.
Remember, this was pretty much a home market bike and not a general export. You can ask for clearances from the folks in the 250 section, or hope that the 400's specs are good enough for the 250 since the two are pretty closely related.

I understand that the original manual is in Japanese, but how would the motorcycle mechanic be able to maintain it??

There would have to be some spreadsheets somewhere, its not like i'm after something rare, i mean carb float levels, value clearance are things that are pretty important to the running of this bike.

Thanks anyway.

Anyone speak japanese???

Here is where you can get a manual:

http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcycles/1995/62

I am a dealer with them, but I don't know if I could be competitive on the price going to the Austriala.
