Still haven't decided myself. I like the look of both. The Two Brothers is definately available for my 06. Seems a little pricy.

2 Bros

My vote goes for the Two Brothers. I chose the Two Bros based in large part on the VALE mounting system. I just think it's a lot cleaner look than having a muffler secured by springs like the Yosh.
Thanks,

Mike

Yosh can is the best from what I've heard from everybody. I've been running a Yosh R&D  for 4 years now.
The only thing that matters is how fast you can get from 0 to 60, because top speed is secondary

When I did my research Yosh was the best value and performance. Spring mounting has proven itself in competition to provide constant pressure sealing under jarring load stress, compared to static mounting systems which can brake seal and leak.

I already did post a link under a very recent string about modifying stock exhaust and you asked the question If I remember correctly, anyway its under  Gen Mech & Tech.

Ya but the stock can is static mounted and it seems to do OK. And why won't Yosh confirm that their exhaust fits an 06? I've sent emails.
And does anyone have any pics of spring mounted Yoshes? Just want to see what iy looks like.

See my B12 in the bikes for sale section. I had a Yosh on it and I loved it. The name plate faded on mine for some reason. Thas the only issue I ever had.

Went with Two Brothers and removed the stock can last night. Expect the Two Brothers in two weeks. One thing I forgot to ask was does the Two Brothers have the Center stand stop on it with the rubber?

No. You have to remove the stock rubber bumper and transfer it to the Two Bros.

Did you happen to notice that the 2Bros pipe you bought is listed to fit both '05's and '06's?

That means that any 2nd gen slip-on would fit an '06 model.

It is listed as fitting 05 and 06. and interestingly enough, that is why I went with Two Bros. I have been hounding Yosh and a bunch of dealers since buying the bike for a definate yes on that question but all I got were a number of nos and a couple of maybes. Probably could have saved some bucks there as the TB is pretty pricy but it looks good and apparently it has a deeper exhaust note than the Yosh.

That would be an assumption. If that were true, then why will no manufacturer confirm that their pipes will fit an '05-'06? Also, if that were true, why would TB not list their model as fitting '01-'06?  :?:
Thanks,

Mike

Rocketjock,

  Congrats on the TB

One note: The installation instructions say to mount the hanger BEHIND the passenger peg. This is incorrect. It must be mounted IN FRONT of the peg mount to allow swingarm clearance.
Thanks,

Mike
