Safe Helmet paints
« on: April 27, 2009, 01:40:15 AM »
Does anyone know what's a safe paint to use on a helmet? I have some scratches on my HJC AC-12 I'd like to cover, but I've heard that most paints can damage the helmet polymers. So if anyone knows what's safe to use on helmets, let me know. Thanks.

I use a Sharpie marker for touch ups. I guess it's safe

I might be anal about stuff like this but if the scratches are beyond the clear I would say get a new lid. I know my head is worth more the a couple o hundred bucks
