Without even sitting on one, the seat looks painfully thin... The Supermoto styled ones LOOK great, but they still appear to have that seat!

I'm sorry,... the Gladius is a Blob.

IMHO Suzuki is waaay off the styling mark these days. Go back and look at the lovely lines on the first GS750B... the GS1000... the early GXSR's.
After the 2001 GSXR1000, I think it all went to hell. They're trying desperately to market to boys with plastic ear-hoops and tribal tatoos. Hustling, young, Japanese engineers look at trendy US magazines and think, Hey!! that's THE DOPE! Gotta be WACKY! Put yer hat on sideways. Something! Amorphous styling... yeah, that's what they'll buy...

I live in Asia for a long time. I know; I see the tastes...
..or, perhaps more accurately, the lack of.
Black '98 B12S, JE 1216cc bore kit, port work, Yosh RS3, Ivan jetting, drag bars, modified Corbin Gunfighter, Hyperpro shock, Racetech Gold valve kit, stainless lines, Wave rotors, polished wheels, fender eliminator, bar-end mirrors, NEP throttle lock, Adaptiv TPX radar detector...140K miles

Most styling in this decade seems born out of the anime scene. The sharp, angular, insectoid  lines of most modern bikes, primarily Japanese, seem straight out of the cartoon series to me.

If you look at the bikes from the 90s and early part of this decade, you see a softer, rounder styling (which I personally like more).

That said, when you compare most modern bikes, the Gladius is pretty tame in comparison.

OK, I'll take it in red. Turquoise never did much for me.
