Police say a Savannah State University student was killed Sunday night when his motorcycle crashed into the brick wall of the Alhambra Apartments.
Investigators said witnesses reported that the operator was stunt-riding and popping wheelies in the parking lot before losing control when the bike struck a curb and slammed into a brick wall.
Savannah-Chatham Police identified the victim as 22-year-old Robert Hebert of Beaufort, South Carolina.
Officers said Hebert was not wearing head protection.
