919 Honda
« on: May 10, 2008, 08:02:47 AM »
I stopped at the shop for a cup of coffe  while tiling a buddys house close by. (my buddys bike shop is like our club house) I seen a 03 919 Honda in for inspection, and I'm not sure what else was being done, but I took it for a test ride. What a beautifull motorcycle! Very nimble, doesn't have adjustable forks, but suspension felt alright. 6 gears, good  smooth power, just a pleasnt bike to ride. I can see why Stomi calls her's the perfict gentlman.

Remind me not to go to that bike shop... I'd be super pissed if I found out the mechanics buddies were taking my baby for test rides.  :annoy:

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

:bigok:  Chinooks are welcome! Its a stop over after crossing the Niagra. Test rides are required for PA.inspection. I had to make sure the bike was in good condition and everything is in working order.( Also filled the empty tank) Didn't thrash it or do wheelies or stoppies, but got a feel for the bike on a short jaunt, and made sure everything worked alright.
Actully we do have some travlers that do stop in from Canada when ever they come through.  They found the place (K K Speed & Sport, Rt.8 just N. of I 90) by accident when in need of repair. (and I think it was in a rain storm) they had safe harbor and were fixed up and on their way. Wood stove to warm their bones, food for their selves, beverages of their choice and a place to rest. Then off with a full tank.  Just don't leave your keys in the bike if I'm there there. (lol just kidding :stickpoke:)   Dan/test piolot

I'm with you on this one.  Thats one more reason why no bike I own is wrenched on by anyone except me.
