Another Convert in CowTown....

Yes, another guy won over to the path of truth, beauty, justice and the Way Of The Bandit.
A customer I know from work drops by the shop on Wednesday morning and says he was thinking of buying a holdover B12 at dealership X in Calgary. He had quizzed me extensively about mine last year, the deal I got, etc. I told him NOT to deal with X but rather check out the place I bought mine from. He'd forgotten they were Suzi dealers. I phoned them and, sho 'nuff, they had ONE last G3 B12 in stock. Turns out it was the ABS model which he didn't want/need but he bought it anyway and got a heckuva deal. So there's one more B12 devotee in CowTown. Pretty soon we'll have our own "chapter" (if that's not too H-D of a word...lol) in Cowtown.

That's cool...we gotta keep our G3's on the map lest people forget about the last of the SACS...I've heard favorable reviews about the 07 but man I gotta tell ya the sound of that howling SACS engine coming through the Muzzy brings me back to high school faster than the bike can get from 0-60. Back in the early 80's those Katana 1000's and 1100's made such music from those Kerker white tips...I was so jealous that I couldn't afford one back then but now I just have to go out to the garage and hit the starter and all is good with the world

Hey, I agree 100% with all that, Dread. For me, it was the Kaw/Kerker combo that got my adrenaline flowing, but I also loved the Suzuki's with Bassani pipes.

I love my '07, and had planned on exhaust mods right away, but I have to admit I'm really digging the "stealth" feature of sneaking through small towns undetected. But I'm seriously thinking of finding an old Z-1 project bike just to have that "Giant Swarm of Angry Hornets" howl when I want it.  :bigok:

Well, Paul I'm not sure if he's even GOT Net access or not. He's never mentioned it but I'll bring it up next time I see him.
There's at least one more guy for Greyhound and I to get together with for rides.....if we can all get our schedules aligned.

Did someone mention my name?

I've been in Victoria this past couple of weeks; just few in, only to be greeted by a snow storm.   Everyone on the coast is riding in the sun.

Yes lets set up a ride, Next weekend looks better than this one for a ride although if Sunday is sunny it should be ok for something somewhere --- depending on the #@%#@*&^% snow.
I also think your friend is going to like the ABS model, You don't really notice it.  More of a back up in case of gravel or snow like today.
