I was backing my bike up into my garage when I slipped... and dropped my bike on its right side.

Luckily I missed my neighbour's car.. but I snapped the end of the brake lever, damaged the mirror, and scuffed the fairing.

I might be able to repair the mirror with a glue gun (which I'll tackle tomorrow morning) but that lever should be replaced, and ideally I'll touch up the paint too.

The sucky thing is I know the dealer will charge me more than $30 for the lever alone. I've seen one online retailer that sells a clutch and brake lever for about $30.. but they won't ship to Canada or the U.S.

So... what's your favourite online store for replacement and aftermarket parts?

Ron Ayers is good and in my experience usually cheaper than Bike Bandit. I use Dennis Kirk's catalog but their web site really gets under my skin.

That sucks, man. I feel for ya, I did the same thing. Didn't have the sidestand fully down and got off the bike on our new house's sloped driveway to close the garage door

Was lucky though, only took out the clutch lever and the turn signal assembly. No damage to the faring, mirror, or generator cover. Makes you feel like an idiot though......

I haven't used Ron Ayers, but a friend of mine has a few times. He doesn't care for them because it usually takes a while to get parts in. Also they have sent him the wrong parts before too. I have used Bike Bandit and even though they may be a bit more expensive, I always get good service it arrives promptly.
