Excellent flick! Did for motorcycling what "Endless Summer" did for surfing.
I was pretty young when it came out, though I'd been riding for a few years. Helped me realize that me and my buddies weren't the only crazies out there... and inspired generations of riders since. Still does.
Gonna have to see it again...

Yeah, it's really got a a sort of carefree innocence about it, and seems timeless, even if the "sport" of motorcycing has evolved. The 2nd and 3rd volumes are barely worth a look, though.

A bit of trivia. You know that little kid on the minibike that started mimicing the wheelies he saw Malcolm Smith doing?
That was Jeff Ward, later to become mulit motocross champ.
