B12 Plastic
« on: February 18, 2012, 11:28:56 PM »
Newb here looking for advice on 2000 b12 fairing parts online.
I see on Bike Bandit/Alpha Sports ect they list the fairing parts as either maroon or silver.
My Canadian b12 is more of a gold colour, was there a difference in US/Canadian paint colors in 2000?

BTW Awesome site guys, i can see spending a lot of quality time here.

In the US, it was "Metallic Light Olive Silver," Suzuki code YC7, Color Rite code 4965.
I'm pretty sure the CDN model was the same color.
It does sometimes look a little gold in certain light, other light is looks more silver and sometimes the green of the olive shows through.

I had replaced different sections on mine. I ended up with all different colors including a different color tank. Then I had the whole bike painted. They come up on ebay sometimes, but its hard to find them in good condition, and especially in a specific color.

Thank you so much, a perfect description of how my B12 looks.
I order most of my parts online from the US and was somewhat concerned about any difference in the color, i didn't want to drop 2 bills only to find a difference in the color.

Was this with new OEM parts? coz that scares me.
