Which road is that one? It looks too narrow for 3A or 6.

12' deep snow at a rest stop.

April of '04 with 3 days to kill. Day 1- Long Beach to Lake Tahoe. Day 2 - Lake Tahoe to San Francisco. Day 3- San Francisco to Long Beach (on PCH of course)

The ride took me from 70 degrees on the SoCal coast, through 90+ degrees skirting Death Valley and down to 40 degrees in the mountains.  Believe it or not it was colder on the coast north of San Francisco than on top of 8500' Kit Carson Pass. Crossed over four 8,000' passes, learned that Central CA is boring to ride across and rode so many PCH twisties that it was actually a relief to find a straight stretch of road.

Awesome ride

Manny, I didn't see any cruisers in your groups' pics... why did it take you 4 days to cover only 1000 miles?  :stickpoke:

Because I also brought my fishing rod! :monkeymoon:

Beartooth Pass US212 from Red Lodge,MT to Cooke City,MT (Northeast entrance to Yellowstone N.P). Unfortunetly the Beartooth Pass has self-destructed last May so I couldn`t get a picute of it with my Bandit last week.

Not the best pic, but a brilliant ride up the PCH and through Humboldt State Park (through the Giant Redwoods).
