Bking at the dealer.
« on: February 02, 2008, 10:56:40 AM »
I have ranted before about how buttugly I think the fake pipes are on this bike but it wasn't till yesterday that I had my first view at the dealer. God, all that CRAP all over the tank! It's as wide as a Harley. Busa motor or not, if I bought that thing the stock pieces would be flying off it. No thank you!

Oh come on, tell use how you really feel!!!! :taz: :annoy:  :bandit:

I have not had the chance to see one yet. But the Proto......looked nice on screen.
The production bike did not give me goose bumps! I think I can build a Mad Max bike cheaper!
:thanks:

I was at a dealer a couple weeks ago exchanging some gloves I got as a Christmas present.

They had 2 B-Kings angled strategically on each side of the aisle as you walked in.  (one in black and one in silver)

It was like 2 big male guard lions at the King's palace ready to pounce.  Those babys are HUGE.

I saw one yesterday and I agree, the bike is not appealing in looks by any means and I can not believe the amount if plastic they added on to the sides of the tank. Personally, I have never really like the looks of the Bking.

I read the title again and now I see what the talk is about.  I posted a thread about it after I got the chance to ride it.  The looks can be improved on and it is an awesome bike to ride.

I bet it's a great ride and I'm usually more interested in function over form, BUT I saw a B-King in person recently and I just can't get past the looks!
However if Tour Master came out with a Batman or Spiderman coudura jacket it might work.
Although I think it was Catwoman that rode a bike?  In fact I don't remember any other super heros that rode?  If they did I think the B-King would be their first choice.  Second choice?  I don't know maybe the Victory touring thing?  No but that would br great for the Villan's ride.

I saw that Victory at the motorcycle show and it was butt ugly.  To top it off, the gas tank is up in the front fairing.

With that Victory, what was worse was seeing it without the fairings.  I thought it was a joke at first and then I saw it with the fairing.

Never was a big comic book reader as a kid, but I did watch Batman when it was on TV on the 60's and Batman did have a Batcycle... with a sidehack that incorporated a go-kart for Boy Wonder.
