I am looking at a 2005 1200S and the more I look the more I find, the tech articles are fantastic, the exhaust blower removal, the Ivan fitting kit article etc etc.

I agree with you.  The quality of the board members is absolutely great, and has kept me here, even though I no longer have my Bandit.
