At least I haven't seen this one.  I do like this bike.

Is it fuel injected?  I can't tell even reading the spec sheet.

They are nice looking bikes, just as nice in real life. I could definitely get myself into trouble on one of those. Still a DR-Z400 though, carb and all. Except for the RM forks(almost forgot about those!).

I know a guy that has one and he saids it gets 33 mile per gallon.
And he never rides hard at all. Tried to talk him into getting the front wheel off the ground but he won't rev that high.

From reading the spec sheets Mike posted, it is carb'd - as I suspected.

Wait for the 450! The 400 only has about 39 hp. The 450 will be up around 50 hp. Big difference on that size of a bike. Also the 450 is several pounds lighter than that trail pig I have in my shed.

The bike is carbed all right and like the Bandit its very lean.  They also mess with the diaphragm so fuel delivery is on the weak side.  My brother in law (jdjetting.com) is working on a jet kit now.  He's got the full dyno with exhaust sniffer so we'll see what he can do.  He had a local Husky distributor at his house to fine tune the 06's as they ran like crap out of the box.

Well I would like to see a 450, but have heard nothing about that possibility.

Like Lloyd, I haven't heard anything about a street-going version of the 450, but since I'm not running out and buying one any time soon, I can wait... but if I hit the Lotto, I may just spring for a KTM 950 Supermoto, or next year's Ducati Hypermotard (it is gonna make production!  :bigok: )

Speaking of the KTM 950SM... check out this vid:

The DRZ gives me a funny feeling.
Not unlike the one that the girl in Paul's avitar does.
Some people are like Slinkies.
They're really good for nothing.
But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I have an 05'S converted to a SM.. I was getting about 50 mpg on mine before I got the Bandit.  Roughly 4500 miles, Piped, jetted, and now 14-44 dirt, 15-41 SM. Its pretty fun. Infact I need to swap the SM tires back on and go play...but its just so easy to just hop on the Bandit.  Take about 45 minutes to swap.  I am usually not in a big hurry.  It will Wheelie pretty easy in 1st.. 2nd its a little harder...Thats a roll on Wheelie. I haven't had a chance to try the clutch up technique.  And I suck @ wheelies, so someone with alittle talent it would be easier.
