!!!*&%_&Q#J*';$(*&!!!!!   :banghead:

You don't want to know what I just said!

I just clicked the Buy It Now on an '83 GS1100GL, went through the whole process to make his required $200 deposit and clicked Done and PayPal came back and said Transaction Cancelled!!!!!!!

My $200 is gone and the sumnabeach has changed the ad by removing the Buy It Now option. M.F.

It looks like the guy has 70+ sales with a good rating.  I would contact ebay so see what they say.  They should have a record of your transaction and you should have a receipt with the transaction #.  If no go, do this;  how far away do you live from his city?  Use a different email and say you would like to inspect the bike before bidding.  You can deal with him in person then.

I just wrote eBay...and you can bet Grannie's linen that I'll be going to see him in person if I don't get an explanation that suits me today!  Yep, the M.F. lives relatively close by.

Couldn't find a 900 Eliminator, huh?
Or a GS1150 standard?  :stickpoke:

Sucks about the $200, but I have a feeling you'll get it back without resorting to  :gatlin

It wasn't my dream bike, but I do like the shaftie "L" models, especially the big ones.  The buy it now price was $1,075.  Sounded like it would be worth a little renovating and upgrading.

It freakin' figures, man, 'cause a decent GS rarely shows up down here.  Up north constantly, but rarely here.  No shipping!  I'm p!ssed!

Des:  very same thing happened to me a couple of times and pay-pal came through with a refund within 24 hours.  that's what they're there for - i think you are protected - but maybe next time you should wear a condom!
