SANTEE – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night when he and another rider crashed into a curb after failing to make it around a curve in the road.
The two men were traveling eastbound on El Nopal Road at Santana Street about 10:20 p.m. when they crashed, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
One rider was thrown from his bike and killed, authorities said. The second rider, who witnesses said was bleeding from the crash, rode off on his motorcycle toward Lakeside.
Deputies canvassed the neighborhood , but couldn't find the second rider.
Traffic deputies are investigating the crash.
Yeah, the bikes may have been stolen, the second rider maybe had warrants or no license...or didn't know the guy.
WOuld you leave a rider dead on the side of the road and just ride off?
