Finished work at 30 mins past midnight, ride onto my drive.....
Turn off the engine....
Go to put the bike on the stand.....

DROP THE BUGGER ONTO MY WIFES CAR AND PUT A DENT IN THE SIDE!

I have two options as she is not back untill later from a works party..

Lie or say some one hit me when I was parked up in the park earlier today.

What would you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't option 2 really option 1?

I agree with everyone else... option 3, the truth. While it may get you in hot water, it's not the boiling acid she'll throw on you if you lie and she ever finds out.

Think of it if it was the other way around and she came home late and tired and knocked your bike over with her car while you were away. Wouldn't you want her to be honest and up front about it?

Well Im still alive and I even told her the truth!

Well sort of.... said it fell off the stand not that I dropped it due to being stupid!

I just cant belive I bloody done it what a fool.

Its not only the bike I love but also the attitude of other bikers its like a big family, My new neighbour who I have never even met is a biker and heard what happend and knocked on my door and gave me his spare mirror rod to replace the one I snapped in my foolish moment.

Getting a bike has opened up a new social life :)

It really does, Its a nice experience when you're pulled over on the hard shoulder scratching your head and wondering why your bike won't go, and most or all of the bikers that pass pull in and ask if they can help.
You dont see that with cagers.
