I saw a pic of a girl taken on a bike at sun set and thought that it looked cool.  So myself and a friend went out and took some pictures.  Here is one of me with my Bandit 1200.

 :thanks:
That is exactly where it is sitting at.  I like playing around with photography, I just wish I had a better camera.  I took a semester of photography in high school and learn a few tricks here and there from a photographer who comes in on occasion to do class pictures for my students.

No, the picture was taken as the sun was setting.  BTW, it was right behind me. If you want to see the sun, here is another pic that I took.  I am not sure if I really like this one, tell me what you think.

One other thing that I just noticed.  I don't know if it is my monitor, but I know that the copy of the first pic is a lot more clearer than this one posted.  When I reduced the size, I might of accidently reduced the resolution a bit as well.

The first one is better, but far. To me anyway.
The second one would have been better if the sun wasn't 'melting' into the tank - say if it would have been over the seat instead.
I tend to actually like pics where you get lens refractions (or whatever the term is) in the pic, but I like the old-fashioned hex shapes, so the orange football doesn't do it for me.

I'm not even a good ametuer, just enjoy taking snapshots and sometimes I get lucky and come up with some I like. One of my fav's is this silhoutte shot near dusk of my friend, Matt:

This one winter sunset wouldn't have been too bad - if I would have just turned off the freakin' date stamp!

That would be easy to photo shop it out.  I do like it though, especially the reflection off the water.  I like to try and experiment with photography.  Sometimes like this last set, I will go out and try it.  Afterwards I will see what worked and didn't and try it again from a different time or angle to see if I could make it work better.

I am  about to photoshop the second pic to get rid of the extra sun spots to see if it looks better.  Well I gave a shot, but trying to get rid of the football is pretty tough to texture in.  It did look better without the sunspots, but I couldn't seem to texture it right.

Here's a couple I took about a month ago.  Trouble is using a digital camera; it just didn't do the sunset justice.

Oh, here's another one
