2600 is what I want to get out of it. After all this talk on here I sat down with her last night and she said she was expecting me to get another bike in the spring. Whew. All this talk was starting to get me nervous.

You're getting married... you're supposed to be nervous.

What kind of friends would we be if we didn't rattle your cage a little?  :bandit:

If she still says the same thing in the spring, then you have a good woman there. If not, well....
"Hmmm... near certainty of death with little chance of success... what are we waiting for?"

I gotta say that for the next bike I am really wanting a 1250. The FI really gets me hot. I would have to buy wrecked and do er up myself to save....yeah, money. Otherwise I don't think that I could do a sport bike. I am 26 and got that outta my system. The C90's would be the only way I would go if I couldnt find a 1250 by July of next year. I figure if I start looking in Nov for my next bandit I can figure out the amount of the 1250's goin down and also watch ebay for avail. parts. Hell I may just go for a 3g, if I cant bring myself to go away from the bandito. It will be hard.

Well, Tanner, here's my unsolicited .02 worth.
I've been married to the same great gal for 35 years come this Fall......but going in I told her there would ALWAYS be at least one bike in the garage at all times. I asked her if she could live with that and the answer was "yes"....so we ran off to the JP about 2 years later and did the deed. Everything still seems copacetic so I guess she's going to keep me for awhile yet. :lol"
Although she wasn't too pleased about my excursion off the road recently......but then it's my first street bike accident in +45 years of riding so I guess the odds just caught up to me.
Hang onto the bike if ya can, Tanner. Like some of the other posters mentioned, once gone, other things assume FAR more importance than bikes.....at least in your wife's opinion.
Ignorance is curable. Stupidity is terminal.
