I went with my wife and my second daughter who was in town. I was prepared for the worst...

But, as long as you remember it is only a Comic Book made into a movie, it was alright. Pretty silly, but amusing all the same.

Your bike might be that fast too if it was dripping flaming fuel the whole time you rode it!! :stickpoke:

So it appears that it is not worth seeing unless your taking your kids right? There was another motorcycle movie I wanted to see and missed call Indian I believe with Anthony Hopkins racing around at Bonneville Salt flats. I was going to buy the movie now that its on sale, anyone know if that movie is worth seeing?

I liked it. Hopkins does "quirky old dude" very well, and wrenchers will appreciate his  characters inate skill.

It is a great movie!  The fact that it is based on the life of a real dedicated mororcycle enthusiast makes it all that much better.

I agree as well. "The World's Fastest Indian" with Anthony Hopkins is a great movie. Not just for motorcyclists, as the story seems to resonate with everyone.

Ghostriders is OK, but I would never buy it. The Worlds Fastest Indian is great, and I will buy it once I see it at a reasonable price.

I would have to agree with most people on the board, I am a comic book movie fan but Ghost Rider was alright, not really worth buying.  If you saw The Punisher and really liked it than Ghost Rider is for you.

Worlds Fastest Indian was a great movie, I bought just right after I rented it.

The Worlds Fastest Indian is a great film, buy it at what ever price they are selling it at.

I took my wife and son to Ghost Rider (he is 35) and we all liked it.
It's a fantasy based on a comic book, and as such it is as good as any of them.

Received my purchased movie (The Worlds Fastest Indian) from Amazon for $9.50 used. Great movie based on a true story of an old man from New Zealand with a bad hart and a dream and of breaking the 800cc land speed record at Bonneville on a shoe string budget with his highly modified 1945 Indian Scout, succeeds and holds one class of five records till this day. Great inspiration for those thinking of retiring to a cage only ride.

Here is a great link that gives the actual historical details and photo's of the original bike.

You will notice the STP oil sticker on the original machine (great additive).

I guess there's no need to see the movie now...  :thanks:

I watched ghost rider for free. It is on UTVPC.Com   Click the movies link on the left side and go down to the G's. I thought it was allright but I would have been really pissed if I had taken my GF to it. Good movie for motorcycle buffs tho.
