Mcy. coverage petition

Came across this.  Apparently HMOs can deny medical payment if injuries sustained in legal activities such as riding motorcycles, atv's, snowmobiles.  Not that they necessarily would but just the fact that they can do this ain't right.

There should be different levels of coverage for the ones who want to engauge in dangerous behavior.
I worked in Singapore in the early 70s. The American workers for some of the compines were not allowed to ride or own motorcycles. Before I got there, they had had a lot of employees injured on motorcycles, so they banned them for their employees.
Where I work, Jefferson School District, we are offered 3 levels of coverage, or no coverage, we choose the one we want to pay for.
I pay a higher premium to be covered.
If I didn't have a Suzuki, I would have a Kawasaki

At least you're aware of it going into the coverage.  How many people aren't aware they can be refused then end up in the poor house?
