I likely won't be going to a motorcycle show this year. I was planning to go and check out new pants, helmets, etc... but the people throwing Montreal's show have decided people will not be allowed to sell anything at the venue.

People are allowed to work out 'deals' and then go visit the dealers after the fact... yeah right.

In a year where Quebec is hiking rates for motorcycle registration, and making people pay extra for a license, this is a stupid, stupid move.

Going tomorrow after work.......   In fact I'll leave work early to have more time to check out the exhibits. Looking forward to getting a good look at the B King.

You know,... strangely enough,.. I'm not too sure how much business is done by the major vendors at the show here.  I know there are the usual leather sales and what not, but I don't know if bikes are sold at the show and picked up at the dealer or if it's a "come see me next week and we'll see what we can do for you".  Hell, they had bikes at the show they didn't even know prices for.  (i.e. CBF1000)

They still have tons of gear there, despite the fact that I don't think people like Icon or Motovan were selling stuff...
