Back in 1992 I had the urge (and cash) to buy a Harley. Then I noticed an ad for a 1987 FZR1000 with 3,100 miles on it, I thought it was a misprint. I was curious and called, and just for grins looked at what turned out to be a showroom pristine bike and took a brief test ride. The first time I rolled the throttle on, after I stopped grinning, I thought - "the Harley can wait!" I got old enough that the FZR ergos made the rides less fun, so in '98 I bought the Bandit. Still got it, and I don't know if I'll ever get old enough for a Harley. Oh yeah, I'm 60!
