Cool to look at.  But if they were really like that, I'd only have a GS1150EF right now.

It looks pretty nice but there is too much on it that I do not like. The forks and swing arm look fantastic but that is about all I would want on mine. The tank is tiny! I have enough complaints about the stock tank let alone something smaller and the painted blue engine looks ghastly in amongst the gold/black paint scheme. I could go on for a while, but each to their own I guess...

Speaking of how things should be made, I notice the Concours and Bandit continue to be carburetted, rather than fuel injection.  I realize it's a cost thing, but really, how much could F.I. actually add to the sticker price of one of these bikes?

Are there any other holdouts amongst the larger bikes offered?

If you like the 1150, how about a couple of real Katana's- and I don't mean the plastic wrapped junk using that name today. Oh, those were the days.

BTW, that is one sweet 1150.

I did, and did you see the going price? Prior to buying my B12, I spent about 3 years looking for a nice unmolested 1988-1990 GSXR1100. The closest I came was offering $4000 for a blue/white 1990 with 20,000 miles up in Oklahoma. It sold for $4500. I also bid $5000 for a very nice 1986 GSXR750 limited edition in Nevada, I was way off base as it sold for $6000.

I finally decided it was insane to spend that much on a 15+ year old bike and bought the B12.

It is very easy to put a modern GSXR front end and wheels, both front and rear, on these old bikes so you can run modern rubber, notice both the bikes in my 2 photos have been modified.
