Prior to buying my B12, I spent about 3 years looking for a nice unmolested 1988-1990 GSXR1100. The closest I came was offering $4000 for a blue/white 1990 with 20,000 miles up in Oklahoma. It sold for $4500. I also bid $5000 for a very nice 1986 GSXR750 limited edition in Nevada, I was way off base as it sold for $6000.I finally decided it was insane to spend that much on a 15+ year old bike and bought the B12.It is very easy to put a modern GSXR front end and wheels, both front and rear, on these old bikes so you can run modern rubber, notice both the bikes in my 2 photos have been modified.Ride On, Ed.2005 GSF1200SZ1983 GS750ED

I think they should have made the B12 with the pilot screws uncovered
